Berat Atak
Berat Atak is a co-founder of Atekian and the engineer who carries primary responsibility for the studio's architectural decisions. He builds products end to end across the React, Flutter and .NET ecosystems, working on every layer from the data model to the store release.
His main focus is where performance decides the outcome: data-heavy mobile screens, lists that update in real time, and the fault tolerance around external service calls. A background in C++, C# and Python pays off here — it makes it possible to tell early whether a problem is solved by picking a different library or by changing the algorithm.
On technology choices he argues for deciding by the project's real constraint rather than staying loyal to one stack. By the same logic he treats Flutter as the default on mobile, while putting native development on the table whenever deep hardware access is required.

- Backend and API design: data model, authorization rules, external integrations
- Performance and cost analysis — finding the source of slow screens and expensive queries
- Release pipeline: store submission, version management, error tracking setup
How he works
- Architectural decisions get written down. If the reason behind a decision was never recorded, six months later it belongs to no one.
